According to the chairman of Taiwan Industrial Fastener Institute (TIFI), Tu-Chin Tsai, the purchasing order performance of Taiwanese screw in Europe and the United States presented a decline in the fourth quarter due to the China-US trade war effect.
However, for special screw the manufacturer assumed that shall be influenced on the standard products, in lieu of resulting in customized special screw without being involving in by international prosperity and political factors. As a result, there will be still remained unchanged on special screw export orders in the fourth quarter.
The industry representative further indicated that the order receiving volume in the first quarter of next year 2019 would be stayed as same as usual. In particular, price for the first quarter of next year had not been determined and issued yet, meanwhile, unstable and unclear trend of the Taiwan dollar exchange rate.
Therefore, associated producers couldn''t be able to fully monitor the market situation in the first quarter of next year.
